Yesterday the 2s were the only one of our teams to complete their game, a rain reduced dogfight with Wolves of Wolverton. The Wolvercote Wolves batted first and posted 147 with Divjot (50) and stand-in skipper Madden (47) leading the way. However, the Wolves of Wolverton emerged top-dogs from this skirmish as they chased the runs down with 4 wickets in hand and two overs to spare. However, this wasn’t enough for Wolverton to knock the 2’s off the top spot and Wolves of Wolvercote are still quantifiably the sleekest canines in the division.
