First XI
After
navigating heavy A34 traffic to Steventon, the 1’s bowled first and
reduced the home side to 67 before knocking off the necessary in 20
overs to win by 7 wickets.
Second XI
At Cutteslowe Park, the 2’s chased down199
set by Minster Lovell on a much improved wicket to get home for the loss
of 3 wickets with 2 overs to spare, thanks to great knocks from Sam
Speight, Sarosh and Darren.
Third XI
The 3’s batted first to set 132 at Charlbury
founded upon 32 from Abeer, the bowling attack made good inroads into
the Charlbury line up, mainly thanks to 3 for 22 from Shyju on league
debut for the club.
Fourth XI
Following a scramble to get the game on, including donating players to the opposition via the player pool, the 4’s triumphed over Nondies after restricting them to 175 mainly thanks to 3 wickets a piece for Miles and Stuart before Freddie Banks and Gabe set about chasing them down, and were clearly in a hurry, reaching the total in fewer than 20 overs. Brilliant work!
